I'm still not sure I can even fit NaNoWriMo into my schedule this year. Last year it didn't work and this year I'm revising. I hope I can finish by November, but it's too soon to tell. Eeep!
Good luck to you with it. A few of my crit partners are participating this year. :-)
I think I'll write this contemporary romance that has been brewing. But I'm afraid I might have to do Nano in December! November is insanely busy time with huge, huge, large, MASSIVE exams coming up. Kind of daunting. *cringe*
I love people destined to be royalty...personally, I think it's a classic.
I don't think your idea sounded boring. And you should have heard me trying to describe my idea from last year: "Um, well, there's this girl, and she's lived a lot of lives already, so she gets told she's earned the reward of the Hereafter. But she doesn't want to go." I got a lot of weird looks, I can tell you.
I had seriously thought about doing NaNoWriMo, but now it looks like I'll be knee deep in edits instead. I have to say, though, I LOVE stories about a boy destined to be king. It definitely doesn't have to be boring! I say go for it.
Hi! New follower and fellow NaNo writer. I don't know what I'll write about yet this year, but I hope my son naps to give me time to write. I've done NaNo every year since 2003 and only last year did I not make the word count. Babies take up a lot of time!

I really want to, but think I might have to do my own version - projects permitting.
